The Virtual Classroom

Last Memorial day I had the opportunity to get almost $4000 worth of Slip molds, slip and a slip pouring table. I have been allowing my 7th graders to choose to pour molds if they want. This has been a learning experience for us all. I haven't spent a lot of time doing slip casting myself, so the learning curve for me still exsisted. Plus all the equipment had been sitting unused and gathering dust for 3-5 years. BUT... we are having some successes and lots of failures. Today i started a kiln load of the first batch of molds... we shall see how they turn out! Cross your fingers...
